Terms of Service.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of your Kale Your Day account. Kale Your Day is operated by Kale Your Day LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("we," "us") — still built and run by one person. By creating an account, you agree to these terms, and they apply to anyone who holds one.

The agreement

Kale Your Day is built and operated by one person, but your agreement is with Kale Your Day LLC, a Washington limited liability company. Using the product — creating an account, adding tasks, or calling the API — means you accept these terms. They apply to everyone who holds an account, whether you signed up during the founding beta or after.

Your account

Clerk, our identity provider, holds your credentials and manages sign-in. You may hold one account per person. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Kale.

What Kale does, and what it does not promise

Kale Your Day is a deterministic scheduler: given the same tasks, configuration and calendar, it always produces the same plan. The plan it gives you is advisory. We do not guarantee that any deadline will be met, we do not do the work for you, and Kale is not a reminder service of record — treat the plan as a starting point for your day, not a commitment on our part.

Founding beta and pricing

Kale is free while it is in founding beta. The beta ends when Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync and the MCP server ship — never on a fixed date. Everyone who creates an account before the beta ends keeps $5/month or $50/year for the life of their account, at the rate published on our pricing page, with no cap on how many people that applies to. No payment method is requested today.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload, or probe the service, and don't run automated bulk scraping against it. The REST API is for accessing your own account's data, not for reselling access to anyone else. Don't use Kale to store or process illegal content.

Your content

You own the task data you enter into Kale — your tasks, schedules, recurring templates and workspace configuration. We are granted only the narrow permission needed to store that data and run the scheduler over it on your behalf. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train anything — AI models or otherwise.

Availability and changes

Kale is maintained by one person on a best-effort basis. We do not offer an uptime guarantee or service-level agreement. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn as the product evolves. If we make a material change to these terms, we will post the updated version with a new date at the top of this page.

Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. If you delete your account, we delete all your account-related data — including your tasks, schedules, recurring templates, workspaces and configuration. We may also suspend or close an account that breaches the acceptable-use terms above.

No warranty and limits

Kale is provided "as is," to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for consequential loss — including a missed deadline or lost work — arising from reliance on the plan Kale produces. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Kale is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
